FAQS

01

How do I book a shoot?

After viewing my packages and you are ready to commit a booking. Click the “booking” tab in the menu above. Fill out the form and send it along. I am happy to have a chat first. Either via email or arrange a phone call.

02

What times are available?

If it is outdoors, I typically prefer sunrise or sunset, which is the best time for light. Of course, the actual time will depend on the time of year. I am a sucker for the soft natural light that’s created on the first hour prior to sunrise, and the last hour before sunset. Indoors will vary depending on the amount of natural light that will be present. Feel free to email me to discuss a specific time.

03

What do we wear?

This will be discussed during our planning session. Most of my clients enjoy a mood board where we can both contribute to. This helps the session to run smooth and expectations met.

FAQs for my clients

04

We are an awkward bunch!

I hear this statement 90% of the time. So do not worry. I do my best to make you feel comfortable with me firstly, whether we arrange a coffee date or a phone call to break the initial awkwardness. Secondly, I have been complimented on how observant and patient I am, understanding what makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I will guide you if you feel that is needed. However, you’ll be focusing on each other and I will blend into the surrounds.

05

What if my kids don’t cooperate?

Kids are kids, they will go by their own terms. I’m a qualified care educator and teacher’s aide. With over 4 years’ experience working and supporting children from 12 months – 16 years old, I can reassure you that I understand, and have the patience of an angel. I allow plenty of time for tears to be soothed and little brains redirected. Your child and I will be best mates by the end of the session.

06

What if the weather isn’t in our favour?

When is the weather in our favour? We will keep a close eye on the upcoming weather. Should the heavens decide to open on your shoot day, I am happy to reschedule to the nearest possible date. If you think you can be spontaneous and make fun with it, lets go.

FAQs for my clients

07

Can we bring props?

Totally! I encourage to bring props if you feel that will help ease the awkward feels or help the little ones engage and become creative, comfortable. For young children, I encourage some snacks to be bought along. If you have a well behaved, photogenic four-legged family member, let me know!

08

What happens after the shoot?

After the shoot, I send you through a generous handful of images to preview and select for editing. I aim to send these to you within 48hours, but please allow up to a week especially during the busy seasons. Your photos will be edited and available for you within a month of your selection date.

09

How do I receive my images?

Your edited images will be provided in the same gallery. Ready for you to download and share with your family and friends. The gallery will be available for 8 weeks, so please download all your images to a safe place. You can print your own images, if you do I highly encourage to order through a professional printing lab for the best outcome. I can recommend you my printer who is strict on sustainability and located here in Perth. You also have the permission to share your images online as stated in my contract. The images are yours. You are welcome to tag me if you would like to.
